It is official: Cabal has finished recording and mixing our debut C.D. Last night we all sat and listened to the final mix, then went for a little celebration drink and decided on the song order. This is very exciting as it brings us closer to having the final product in hand.
It has been a long, yet surprisingly smooth road. After the band recorded all the music in nearly one take, Ari recorded her vocal tracks in short order. The past few weeks Nicolaas has spent maddening hours listening to the music over and over and over and over again to get a great mix of all the instruments.
All that is left to do now is find ourselves a master of mastering (final eq, compression, etc) and then send it off to get pressed. We are not 100% certain yet, but we may offer an early downloadable release.
Thanks to all our friends, family and fans that have supported us. We truly love performing our music for you.

That’s great news!! We heard you last October and I bought your Los Listos CD. You gave a spellbinding performance at Ceviche. Unforgettable! We’re heading down from Greensboro, NC to the Bradenton/Sarasota area on March 11 and will definitely take in your evening performance at Ceviche that night. Can hardly wait!! I’ll buy a few CD’s if they’re available!
